Tortoises play a huge part in the natural ecosystem in Madagascar. They help spread seeds of the Baobab Trees, and everything else I’m leaving out. So, they have a really great small sanctuary for them here, and they’ve gone from zero, to about 40? since my visit in Late 2023.
It’s a beautiful place.
