You see all kinds of crazy things. Like giant blue Cicadas, giant land crabs, and tiny mouse lemurs.
And *the* giant spider. Everything is “giant” in Madagascar.

It’s dark. We have flashlights. Everything is still. Partly because they’re in sleep-mode and also because they’re not used to people and just don’t seem to react.

Everyone loves the cockroach. But what about the Giant Hissing Cockroach of Madagascar?

You don’t realize it, but that spider is about the size of an adult male human hand.

Everything is still, sleeping.

This spider is some evolutionary tangent from Selenopidae family, and they look like Huntsman spiders, or at least, that’s the closest match I could locate.

This one is the size of my hand.

A Giant Moth (or cicada?) and a Massive Forest Crab, completely motionless while I record them.
